Professional Experience

Our owner, Kent Disch, has nearly three decades of government experience. He has served as a staff member to numerous Wisconsin State Assembly members, including time as a policy advisor for a Representative on the powerful Joint Committee on Finance.

As head lobbyist for a local home building association, Kent helped the Association and its members during negotiations on high profile issues such as Inclusionary Zoning, Transfer of Development Rights and Construction Site Recycling.

While Kent was the in-house lobbyist for a nationwide, Forbes 30 telecommunications, cellular and broadband provider, he helped pass statewide legislation creating uniform regulatory requirements for siting and building cellular towers, siting “small cell” cellular antennae and modernizing century-old telecom laws and regulations.

Kent is a masterful negotiator who has friends on both sides of the aisle and a deep understanding of how things work in Wisconsin government, from the Governor’s office to the Wisconsin Legislature to State agencies and local governments. His extensive network allows him to connect with policymakers at every level of government.

Kent is proud to have had legislation signed into law by every Governor dating back to the mid-90’s, through GOP and DEM majorities and Governors.

Personal

Kent holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master of Arts Degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from Northwestern University.

Kent lives with his wife and business partner, Becky Disch, in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. His daughter, Alexandria, is attending college at Winona State University in Winona, MN and his son, Cameron, is attending the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.

In his free time, Kent enjoys reading, refereeing high school soccer, watching his beloved Chelsea FC and listening to Pearl Jam.
